1 small onion, chopped
¾ cup ketchup
¼ cup barbeque sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Directions

  1. Cook and stir the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef is completely browned and the onion softens, about 10 minutes.

  2. Stir the ketchup, barbeque sauce, vinegar, mustard, and white sugar through the ground beef mixture, simmer 15 minutes.

This is an excellent version of sloppy joes. We used to fix this at the concessions at the ballpark, and it was the first to go every time. Everyone always asks for the recipe. Serve on hamburger buns or sandwich rolls.
