Directions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Add sardines, cook, flipping occasionally, until golden, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a serving plate.

  2. Mix sake, spring onions, soy sauce, mirin, and chopped ginger together in a small bowl to make sauce. Pour over sardines.
