1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or more to taste
½ cup mayonnaise, or more to taste
3 breast, bone removeds cooked boneless chicken breasts, chopped
1 ½ sleeves vegetable-flavored buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®)
½ cup margarine, cut into pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. Mix cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Cheddar cheese, and mayonnaise together. Mix well and add chicken, make sure cream cheese is fully incorporated. Put into a 9x13-inch glass baking dish. Crush crackers and sprinkle evenly over top of chicken. Dot margarine evenly over crushed up crackers.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is browned and casserole is bubbling, 30 to 45 minutes.

Recipe Note

I made this cheesy chicken casserole recipe by accident, but it turned into a very happy accident! I thought I was adding sour cream but wasn't paying any attention and ended up adding cream cheese. I will never make it with sour cream again it was so good!
