Ingredients

1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained and bones removed
1 (14.5 ounce) can great northern beans, drained and mashed
½ cup bread crumbs, or as needed
2 eggs
¼ teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
¼ teaspoon garlic and herb seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash®)
salt and ground black pepper to taste
6 hamburger buns
1 tablespoon oil, or as needed
4 tablespoons mayonnaise, or to taste

Directions

  1. Mix together salmon, beans, eggs, garlic powder, garlic and herb seasoning blend, salt, and pepper. Form mixture into 6 patties.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook until firm, about 10 minutes per side.

  3. Serve on hamburger buns with mayonnaise.

Recipe Note

My 6-year-old, who is incredibly picky, describes this as 'alicious.' Two nights ago, we were at the tail-end of our food and I decided to throw some things together and experiment. I didn't expect the kids to like this, but to my surprise, we had it two nights in a row. They LOVE it.
