½ cup butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a small bowl, pour bourbon over walnuts, set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, beat sugar, corn syrup and eggs. Stir in butter, chocolate chips and vanilla. Add bourbon and nuts. Pour filling into pie shell.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
