Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Brush a casserole dish evenly with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Place a layer of sliced potatoes to cover the bottom of the dish. Brush with butter and repeat layers until all potatoes are used. Pour in chicken broth.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until potatoes are tender and browned, about 1 hour. Invert potatoes onto a plate. Season with salt and pepper.
