Directions

  1. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Toss sugar, sifted flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon together in a large bowl.

  3. Fold in oil, eggs, chopped nuts, and pie filling. Pour batter into prepared pans.

  4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until cake tests done.
