¼ cup whole milk
¼ cup coconut milk
3 tablespoons white sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons raisins

Directions

  1. Combine water, cornmeal, whole milk, coconut milk, white sugar, vanilla extract, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a blender, blend until smooth.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil in a saucepan, whisk occasionally until beginning to thicken, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat when slow bubbles form. Stir frequently until as thick as you like, about 5 minutes. Add raisins.

  3. Remove from heat, cover, and let cool before serving, about 5 minutes.
