Ingredients

2 tablespoons margarine
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 ½ cups tomato juice
1 ½ cups water
½ cup beef stock
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon celery salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ½ cups uncooked spiral pasta
½ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon sherry
¾ cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Melt margarine in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat, and stir in the ground beef and onion. Cook until onion is tender and beef is evenly browned. Reduce heat to low.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix tomato juice, water, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, and pepper. Pour into the beef mixture.

  3. Stir pasta into the skillet. Cover, and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove the mixture from heat, and stir in sour cream and sherry. Sprinkle with parsley to serve.
