Freezer Pear Honey Jam recipe

5 pounds Bartlett pears, peeled and cut into chunks
2 ½ cups sugar, or more to taste
1 (14 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
lemon, juiced

Directions

  1. Combine pears, sugar, crushed pineapple, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Pulse in batches in a food processor until coarsely chopped.

  2. Pour pear mixture into a large pot, bring to a rolling boil. Reduce heat, simmer, stirring frequently, until it thickens, about 45 minutes. Let cool to room temperature, 1 to 2 hours.

  3. Ladle into a freezer bag, seal, and transfer to the freezer.

Freezer pear honey jam. Never had attempted this before. It was so easy and such a crowd-pleaser I plan to do this over and over again.
