1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa (such as Newman's Own® medium or hot)
2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese blend, or more to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Mix refried beans with taco seasoning mix in a bowl, spread mixture into the bottom of an 8x8-inch glass baking dish. Spread sour cream over the refried beans, spread salsa over the sour cream. Sprinkle cheese over the top.

  3. Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted but not bubbling, 6 to 10 minutes.

Recipe Note

I came up with this while on a limited budget and craving a layer dip sans guacamole, lettuce, olives, etc. Super easy and totally delicious!
