1 pound stew beef, tenderized and diced
½ teaspoon vinegar
salt to taste
1 teaspoon oil, or as needed
1 onion, diced
1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
1 (15 ounce) can sweet peas, drained
1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained and diced
1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce
½ quart heavy whipping cream

Directions

  1. Place beef into a bowl, cover with vinegar and salt.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and stir onion until softened, 3 to 5 minutes. Add meat to the onions, cook and stir until onions are soft and meat has begun to brown, about 5 minutes.

  3. Mix corn, peas, and mushrooms into the skillet, cook and stir until flavors combine, about 10 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce and cream. Cook and stir until meat is cooked through and a salmon pink color, about 3 minutes. Season with salt.
