2 squares graham crackers, broken into small pieces
2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons miniature marshmallows

Directions

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Slice the bananas lengthwise, making sure not to cut through the bottom peel. Slightly open the bananas to form a pocket.

  3. Divide graham crackers, chocolate chips, and marshmallows between the 2 pockets. Set banana boats in the air fryer basket.

  4. Air fry until boats have blackened and marshmallow are toasted, about 6 minutes.

Recipe Note

When visiting my grandparents' lake house as a kid, they'd set up a tent and let us cousins pretend like we were camping. Grandma would always make these in the oven and bring them out to us so that we'd feel like we were really camping. Roasting the banana changes the the texture to almost a pudding-like consistency. Here is my adapted version using an air fryer.
