¼ cup nutritional yeast
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
1 pinch ground cumin, or to taste
1 cup water, or more as needed
2 tablespoons margarine
1 ½ cups salsa

Directions

  1. Combine nutritional yeast, flour, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and cumin in a saucepan, add water. Whisk constantly over medium heat until thick and bubbly, about 5 minutes, remove from heat.

  2. Stir margarine into the yeast mixture until melted. Mix in salsa.

  3. Cook and stir over low heat until tomatoes are warmed through, about 5 minutes.
