2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (15.5 ounce) cans French cut green beans, drained
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onions, and cook for a few minutes. When the onions are soft, add the garlic, and cook until fragrant. Mix in the green beans, cook and stir for two minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and water, then season with salt, pepper and cumin. Simmer for 5 more minutes over low heat before serving.
