10 pounds apples - peeled, cored, and chopped
½ cup white sugar
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground allspice
¾ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup sugar-free butter-flavored syrup
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon Mexican vanilla extract
2 teaspoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon molasses

Directions

  1. Place apples in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, and salt. Cover and cook on High for 2 hours.

  2. Stir butter-flavored syrup, honey, maple syrup, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and molasses into the apple mixture, mash apples with a potato masher or fork.

  3. Reduce heat to Low, cover, and continue cooking apple mixture until thickened and dark brown, 9 to 11 hours, whisking frequently. Remove cover and cook for 1 to 2 more hours.
