1 cup old-fashioned oats
¼ cup flaked coconut
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon maple sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.

  2. Mix oats and coconut in the prepared baking dish.

  3. Stir maple syrup, honey, maple sugar, and cinnamon together in a small saucepan over medium heat, bring to a boil. Cook at a boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Remove saucepan from heat and stir vanilla into maple syrup mixture, pour over oats and coconut and stir to coat.

  4. Bake in preheated oven, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes.

  5. Cool completely, stirring regularly, before storing in an airtight container.

Recipe Note

Dissolve the maple sugar in the syrup mixture while heating it on the stove. The maple flavor will be pronounced and delicious!
